Zesty Beef Tartare


Ingredients:


- 300 g high-quality beef tenderloin, finely diced

- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

- Juice of half a lemon

- Fine sea salt, to taste

- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

- Finely chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

- Capers in brine (optional, for garnish)


Instructions:


1. Ensure you're using fresh, high-quality beef. Cut the beef tenderloin into very fine dice using a sharp knife.


2. Transfer the beef dice to a bowl and add the extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice. Gently mix to evenly distribute the dressing.


3. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Mix well to evenly season the beef.


4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the beef tartare marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.


5. When ready to serve, transfer the seasoned beef tartare to individual serving plates.
