Potato Gnocchi with Gorgonzola Cream, Parmesan, Chopped Walnuts, and Black Pepper


Ingredients:

- 500g potatoes

- 150g all-purpose flour

- 1 egg

- Salt to taste

- 100g gorgonzola cheese

- 50g grated Parmesan cheese

- 50g chopped walnuts

- Ground black pepper to taste


Instructions:

1. Boil the potatoes until tender, then peel and mash them until smooth.

2. Spread the mashed potatoes on a floured surface and add the flour and egg. Season with salt and knead until you get a smooth dough.

3. Divide the dough into small balls and roll them lightly on the floured surface to shape the gnocchi.

4. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the gnocchi until they float to the surface, then drain them and set aside.

5. In a pan, melt the gorgonzola over low heat, then add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until you get a smooth cream.

6. Add the chopped walnuts to the cheese cream and mix well.

7. Add the gnocchi to the pan with the gorgonzola and walnut cream, then sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper.

8. Serve the gnocchi hot, garnishing with some grated Parmesan cheese and extra chopped walnuts, if desired.
